The End of All Things: Leaving the Hobby

I've been quiet recently, and there is a reason why. No, not an excuse but an genuine reason.

I'm leaving the hobby.

It's something I've contemplated for a while now. I have my multitude of reasons why, but it's mainly because it's an expense and a pastime I can no longer justify. The enthusiasm I've had for miniatures since I was eight (when I first started) has burnt out completely now, and it's time for me to move on.

Therefore that's it from me, no more updates for you lovely readers. I'm going to keep this blog open for as long as it takes me to sort out what I'm going to get rid off (that's everything bar my copy of the Black Crusade roleplay book and my Black Library novels, I quite enjoy reading those).

I'll be compiling a mighty list in the next couple of days, of everything that I want to get shifted. I'll probably either donate it to willing hands or sell what I can't give away on eBay at ridiculous low prices. I'm not too fussed on the money, I just want to make the space to move on in life. Of course, given the sheer amount I have in storage I'll be pleased to get whatever money I can get. My temp job is finishing at the end of this week so without that financial security for the foreseeable future, I'll take whatever people can offer me for my unwanted miniatures / rulebooks.

I think the last thing to say at this point is just thank you to you, the readers and the commenters. In fact, thank you for anyone who has taken the time to view or say anything about what I've worked on the past five or so years since my hobby hit the various internet forums I have frequented.

So yes, expect the start of me listing off items up for sale / donation soon, and thanks for reading,
